Big Daddy is a really friendly Dog!

Big Daddy is up for Adoption!   Meet Big Daddy! He’s one good looking guy, and he knows it.  We are guessing this cutie is about 3-5 years old.  Big Daddy is such a devoted and loving dog, it’s hard to understand why anyone would dump him at a shelter.  He’s a labrador/pitbull mix and has quite the traits of a Labrador.  He adores his ball, and fetch is just about his favorite thing.  Big Daddy is very friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets.  He’s a real pleaser.  He’s working on his commands, and is becoming a very proper boy as he is super food motivated!  He is fine with other dogs, but would probably do best as an only dog.

Titus is a cute little mutt that will brighten your day!

India is a cute little lightweight at 10lbs!

India is up for Adoption!   India is a 2 year old female chihuahua that weights in at 10lbs  and has a soft foxy coat and perky ears to match. India is a total lap dog, she enjoys belly rubs, furry toys and lots of kisses.  She does show nervousness and growls when strangers approach her so she needs someone with patience, that’s willing to help her gain some confidence and continue training.  It takes her some time to warm up to new people but once given the chance her bubbly personality will come out.  She does fine around other dogs, but still has yet to gain confidence around them, so I think another dog in her new home will help her with this.  There should be no children in her new home as she can be mouthy at first.  But we are sure her owners can help her overcome her fears with more socialization.  Despite everything, this gorgeous golden girl is ready for some fun, so Beyonce move aside!  There is a new diva in town!

Joey is part Staffordshire Terrier and French Bulldog

Joey is up for Adoption!  Joey is part Staffordshire Terrier and French Bulldog (look at those big ears, they are not cropped, au natural!) He’s been at North Central Animal Services since July and was pulled out of death row.  Out of the hundreds of dogs there, I chose him because when he came out of his jail, he gave me a big hug around my waist, so happy and so thankful.   Since having him in my house, I have come to love him completely.   He is sweet, loving, fun, funny, athletic, submits to my two dominant females, quiet and is easy going.   He is the perfect adoptable dog.     House broken too. However, he is NOT for anybody.   He weighs 70-75 pounds and is 100% muscle.   Being very strong, he needs a strong willed owner who will exercise him daily.   He is between 1 – 2 years old, good around my two large dogs but not sure about smaller dogs….. He has had all of his shots, is crate trained and neutered.

Braden at Stonecliffe Animal Rescue

Braden is up for Adoption!  Braden is one of ten puppies from a litter.  The mom is a shepherd mix and dad is unknown. Braden is one of the smaller pups but should grow to be around 50-60 pounds. Thatcher in San Francisco

Thatcher is up for Adoption! Thatcher is 3 ½ year old Boxer-American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is a large, sweet dog that needs a chance in life.  He is the best friend you could ever have, he is loyal, loving and really an easy going guy.  I love this dog.

Thatcher loves walks, playing with the ball, and being with you as much as possible – he’s a snuggler, kisser, and hugger!  Thatcher has so much to give and he can’t wait to love, and to find his forever home.

Thatcher has had a tough life and needs someone that will love and protect him and be able to work with him.  Because of his tough beginning he has some fear issues and can be a bit of a nutter at times.  The best home for him will be with an experienced dog owner that can handle a large dog and can provide him a safe space where he can be his best, and his best is awesome!

Thatcher is loving puppy stuck inside the body of a big boy. He has a serious bark but it is only to warn you, someone is out there, or to let you know he’s very excited to go for a walk.   Again, just being his nuttso adorable self.

This guy is great on leash, really a pleasure to walk.  He will not pull.  He also knows basic commands, sit, stay, down, come.  He is generally well behaved and likes to lay around and chew on his bones when inside.  The closer he can be to you, the better.  You’ll find him sleeping by your feet often.  He is also great with other dogs – very gentle and playful with his housemates.

Munchkin at Villalobos Rescue Center in CA

Munchkin is up for Adoption!  separation anxiety, she never knew kennel life until she was brought here.
