 India is a cute little lightweight at 10lbs! India is up for Adoption! India is a 2 year old female chihuahua that weights in at 10lbs and has a soft foxy coat and perky ears to match. India is a total lap dog, she enjoys belly rubs, furry toys and lots of kisses. She does show nervousness and growls when strangers approach her so she needs someone with patience, that’s willing to help her gain some confidence and continue training. It takes her some time to warm up to new people but once given the chance her bubbly personality will come out. She does fine around other dogs, but still has yet to gain confidence around them, so I think another dog in her new home will help her with this. There should be no children in her new home as she can be mouthy at first. But we are sure her owners can help her overcome her fears with more socialization. Despite everything, this gorgeous golden girl is ready for some fun, so Beyonce move aside! There is a new diva in town!

 Buca is a playful, energy filled dog! Buca is up for Adoption! Buca is a sweet shy one year old boy. He ended up here at the shelter after an unfortunate divorce in his family. He really doesn’t like the shelter life and being on display. He rather enjoyed being part of a family and relaxing in his home feeling safe and loved. He is very reserved in his kennel, sizing up all that pass and deciding whether you have what it takes to be his best bud. He’s looking for someone who pays attention to small details, to be more specific – signs that he is ready to play, wrestle, cuddle or for you to be his protector.
Buca in many ways can be a frightened puppy in new situations and with new people. His best bud will intuitively know when he feels uncomfortable in any situation and either remove him from it or help him to build his confidence by introducing him to things and people with positive reinforcement and ever so slowly. Buca is a lot of fun. This boy loves to play catch with a tennis ball or any stuffed animal you toss. He runs like a gazelle , bounding across the yard leaping in the air. This handsome young boy loves to play with other dogs and would most likely be OK with a cat or dog in his new home.Older more experienced teens would be best living and playing with Buca.  Meet little Alvin and his two brothers in NJ Alvin is up for Adoption! There are three gorgeous 4-month old Cane Corso mix puppies in total. They were brought to the shelter and we have safely gotten them out of there. All three boys are sweet and shy and will be somewhere from 70 – 90 pounds when full grown, give or take.
Alvin is mostly black with some brindle on his legs. He is more mellow but still playful like any puppy. They are good with other dogs and cats. They are already neutered and have received their first puppy shots.
Large dog experience is required and potential adopters with previous Cane Corso experience are strongly preferred. The pups will ONLY be adopted out within a 1-hour driving distance of Princeton, NJ.
